Haru’s Paper Garden is a picture book exploring the history of Indian botanical art in colonial times through the relationship of Vishnu Prasad and his son Haru. Through Vishnu Prasad’s letters the book traces back the roots of Indian botanical art and how Indian artists navigated those spaces. The book is a part of the MAP’s exhibition ‘Painted Gardens’.
